What you're booking & when

North Georgia lawns often sit on red clay that compacts over time, so water, air, and nutrients have a harder time reaching grass roots. Core aeration pulls small plugs from the turf so the soil can open up and roots can grow deeper. Every visit and subscription funds local youth adventures. Bundle aeration with holiday flags and save $30 per year. Aeration and holiday flags begin in 2027. There are no fall 2026 yard services.

Aeration

Core aeration is scheduled by grass type so we visit when your turf is ready:

• Bermuda and zoysia: late May through June 2027.
• Fescue: September through October 2027.
• If you're not sure of your grass type, youth will identify it on the first visit and schedule the right window.

$110 one-time for a standard yard (up to about ½ acre); large yard (½–1 acre) +$40; over 1 acre email info@gainesvilleyouth.com.

Holiday flags start with Memorial Day, Mon May 31, 2027. Each season includes:

A U.S. flag on a pole in your front yard for each holiday — $99/yr.
